Description
An original German military Feldpost envelope from World War II, postmarked January 13, 1942. The envelope was sent by German soldier Franz Lammerauer (Feldpost number 12929) to fellow soldier Sepp Löckher, stationed at Flaklager Stammersdorf in Vienna, Austria. Flaklager Stammersdorf was associated with Germany’s wartime anti-aircraft defenses. This envelope offers an interesting connection to the Luftwaffe’s air defense operations during World War II.
The envelope features an original German military Feldpost cancellation with the Reich eagle and swastika, along with handwritten sender and recipient details. An authentic piece of WWII postal history, ideal for collectors of German military correspondence or as a historical backdrop for displaying medals, badges, dog tags and other wartime relics.
