Description

This is an authentic WWII German Black Wound Badge, awarded to soldiers who were wounded in combat. The badge was the lowest of three classes (black, silver, and gold) and was typically issued for one or two wounds.

Made from stamped metal with a helmet and swastika design, surrounded by an oak leaf wreath, this badge remains a genuine relic of wartime service. The reverse retains its original pin-back fastening and shows period wear consistent with age.

A well-preserved example of a wartime combat decoration, ideal for collectors of WWII German militaria and award insignia.
