Description
This authentic 1936 Reichsparteitag (Nuremberg Party Rally) badge is an original period-issued piece from the 1936 rally. The design features three shield-bearing figures beneath the national emblem and the date “1936,” symbolizing strength and unity — themes strongly emphasized during the Party Rally that year. The reverse is clearly maker-marked: Hoffstätter – Bonn. Hoffstätter was a recognized manufacturer of political and rally insignia during the 1930s and produced a wide range of Reichsparteitag badges during this period.
Reichsparteitag badges were sold to and worn by attendees during the annual Party Rallies in Nuremberg. Each rally featured distinctive artwork reflecting the ideological themes of the event. Today, these badges remain collectible artifacts of pre-war German political history and are sought after by collectors of World War II-era memorabilia.
This example is die-struck in metal with a gold-toned finish and retains its original pin assembly. The details remain sharp, and the badge shows honest age-related wear consistent with an original pre-war item. It is a period original and not a reproduction.
