Mauser casings are rimless bottlenecked 7.92×57mm rifle cartridges. They were adopted by the German Empire in 1903–1905, and was the German service cartridge in both World Wars. In its day, the 7.92×57mm Mauser casings were one of the world’s most popular military cartridges. It was fired by many iconic German WW2 guns, like the Mauser K98k, G43 and MG42/34.
