WWII Luftwaffe cap eagle

Description

This is an Original WWII Luftwaffe Cap Eagle. The eagle was worn on Luftwaffe peaked caps and side caps throughout the Second World War and served as one of the primary insignia identifying members of the German Air Force.

Manufactured from aluminum, this example displays excellent feather detail and retains an attractive original finish with honest age-related wear. The eagle remains a classic and highly recognizable piece of Luftwaffe headgear insignia. The reverse retains its original attachment hardware, although one attachment pin is missing. This has only a minor impact on display and does not detract from the overall appearance of the piece.
