Wehrmacht Square Dish

This is an authentic Wehrmacht porcelain square dish, manufactured in 1940 and issued for use in Wehrmacht canteens and mess facilities. The dish is made from durable porcelain and represents the standard tableware used by German army personnel during the Second World War.

On the underside, it bears the clear factory stamp “Rosenthal”, one of Germany’s most prestigious porcelain manufacturers. During the war years, Rosenthal produced high-quality service porcelain for both civilian and military use, making this dish a fine example of the craftsmanship and practicality of the period. The dish remains complete and in good condition, with all markings clearly visible. The Wehrmacht eagle and date stamp are sharply defined, giving the piece excellent display appeal.
