Description
This is an authentic Wehrmacht porcelain bowl, originally issued during the Second World War and decorated with the Wehrmacht eagle. The piece was manufactured by Rhenania Duisdorf Bonn, a known German porcelain producer that supplied tableware to the armed forces. Although the factory stamp on the underside is only partially preserved, it remains recognizable and confirms the bowlโs origin. The bowl was recovered in fragmentary condition and has been carefully restored by Chris himself. The original shards were painstakingly glued together, and the missing gaps were filled with a professional porcelain repair kit, leaving the bowl structurally complete once again. All restoration work was done with great care to preserve the authenticity and historical character of the piece.
Despite its repaired state, the Wehrmacht eagle and traces of the Rhenania factory mark remain visible, ensuring its value as a collectible. Restored relics like this provide a tangible link to the daily life of German soldiers and represent a fascinating blend of authenticity and preservation. A genuine WWII relic, restored with respect for its history, this bowl is an excellent addition for collectors of Wehrmacht militaria, porcelain artifacts, or battlefield-recovered items.
