Description
This authentic WHW (Winterhilfswerk) tinnie represents the Regiment General Göring and was issued as part of the Winter Relief fundraising campaigns in Germany during the late 1930s. The badge is designed in the form of a regimental flag and features a detailed central emblem against a green background. The reverse is clearly marked “Regiment General Göring” along with the production code SU27. The original pin assembly remains present.
WHW badges were distributed in exchange for donations to the Winterhilfswerk organization and were produced in a wide variety of designs, often highlighting military units, regional themes, or historical motifs. Today, they remain collectible pieces of period insignia.
This example shows honest age-related wear consistent with an original period piece
