Description
This is an authentic Luftwaffe porcelain square dish, manufactured in 1939 and issued for use in Luftwaffe canteens and mess facilities. Made from durable porcelain, the dish was produced in the standard military pattern used by German air force personnel during the early years of the Second World War.
On the underside, it bears the clear factory stamp โBauscher Weidenโ, one of Germanyโs leading porcelain manufacturers. Bauscher Weiden was a prominent supplier of high-quality tableware to the Wehrmacht and Luftwaffe, known for its craftsmanship and durable military-grade porcelain. The 1939 date marking identifies this dish as an early-war example, produced at the very beginning of the conflict.
The dish is complete and in good condition, with the Luftwaffe eagle and date stamp still sharply visible. Its preservation and clear markings make it a desirable collectorโs item. Early Luftwaffe-marked porcelain pieces such as this are increasingly difficult to find, especially in such intact form. A genuine and beautifully marked relic, this dish is an excellent addition for collectors of WWII German militaria, Luftwaffe artifacts, or historical porcelain. The size of this item is 8,3 x 8,3 inch (21 x 21 cm).
