WWII Wehrmacht cap eagle

This is an authentic WWII German Wehrmacht cap eagle, worn on the front of Wehrmacht enlisted and NCO field caps. The eagle features the iconic outstretched wings clutching a wreath with swastika, one of the most recognizable insignia of the German armed forces during the Second World War.

This example is maker-marked “ZS 39” on the reverse, identifying it as a period-produced wartime piece. The eagle retains crisp feather detail and an attractive original finish with natural age-related patina. The original attachment prongs on the reverse are no longer present, but the insignia remains a genuine and well-preserved example, making it an excellent display piece or an original addition to any WWII militaria collection.
