Description
This authentic pre-war German Wehrmacht porcelain cup is dated 1937 and bears the correct Wehrmacht eagle stamp on the base. The green manufacturer mark shows Hutschenreuther – Hohenberg – Germany, a well-known German porcelain producer, confirming period manufacture.
Unlike civilian mugs, this piece is the correct military “Becher” form without handle, as commonly used in barracks and field settings. The porcelain shows honest age-related wear consistent with an original early-period example. A visible hairline crack is present, as shown in the photos, but the piece remains displayable and retains clear base markings.
Pre-war dated Wehrmacht porcelain with legible stamps is increasingly difficult to find, making this a desirable addition to any WWII militaria collection.
